Gary asks 17 News: what in the world are they building across from the old Mesa Marin Raceway?
He says it looks like Noah's Ark is being built.
The Bakersfield City School District's website says the building that looks like "Noah's Ark" is going to be Dr. Douglas K. Fletcher Elementary School.
On March 22nd the district held a groundbreaking ceremony for its two new schools, Fletcher Elementary and Paul L. Cato Middle School.
Both are expected to open in August 2014.
