Barbara contacted 17 News. She wants to know what is planned for the corner of Brimhall and Allen Roads in northwest Bakersfield.
Bakersfield Assistant Public Works Director Brad Underwood, says road widening is being done at the northwest corner of that intersection.
The new construction will provide improved traffic flow through the intersection. All directions will have dual left turn lanes and an additional through lane will be provided on westbound Brimhall Road.
In addition, a right turn lane will be added on eastbound Brimhall Road and on southbound Allen Road.
