Bakersfield Assistant Public Works Director Brad Underwood says a storm drain modification and expansion is being built in the Pin Oak Park area.
Trench shielding will be used as part of the construction and will be stored in the park bordering Carvalho Street.
A temporary fence will be placed around the equipment and will be monitored at various times.
