Chuck contacted 17 News, wanting to know why trains blow their horns at Allen and Hageman Roads in northwest Bakersfield.

He says there is no grade crossing, but the horns continue to sound down to Rosedale Highway.

According to Lena Kent with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, train horns should only blow when people are seen on or near the tracks.

She adds, it's possible some touch-up work was recently done there, which necessitated the horn blowing.
