George contacted 17 News. He wants to know if there are plans to eliminate a Golden Empire Transit bus stop on Westwind Drive next to the Veterans Clinic.
According to GET, the answer is no. Route 42 will go in front of the VA clinic and will run every 30 minutes daily.
This service is considered better since customers will be able to board at the Downtown Transit Center and the Southwest Transit Center.
The current route does not serve the Southeast Transit Center.
